Orders placed outside of working hours (evenings, weekends, public holidays) will begin processing the following working day.

Orders are usually dispatched for delivery within the above quoted processing time after your payment has cleared. Courier transit time once dispatched is usually 1-5 working days, depending on our courier partner’s routes and workloads. Outlying regions may take a couple of days longer for delivery. Please remember that couriers do not deliver on weekends or public holidays. We will notify you on the dispatch of your order to our courier partner indicating your order tracking number. If you are provided with a delivery PIN (digital signature) for your shipment, please treat this securely – do not provide the PIN to anyone unless you are in receipt of your package, provision of this number to your delivery person will sanction parcel delivery.

Orders are sent via standard economy shipping; applies within the territory of the Republic of South Africa to street addresses routinely serviced by our national courier.

Remote Areas – Delivery to certain outlying addresses may not be possible or may attract additional delivery surcharges – in this instance we will contact you to discuss delivery options.

Special Delivery Areas – Delivery to special delivery areas may attract extra delivery surcharges. Special delivery areas include: Mines, Power stations, Plots, farms, remote areas, military bases, Game lodges, Port / Harbours, Embassies and Consulates.

In order to avoid these additional remote and/or special area delivery surcharges, you can supply us with an alternative delivery address to your billing address. If you are using a ‘care of’ delivery address, please provide the name and contact telephone number of the person receiving the delivery for you in town.

Bulk Orders – We reserve the right to re-quote delivery costs on bulk orders that attract excessive delivery charges from our courier.

International Orders – Please contact us before ordering if you require delivery outside of the Republic of South Africa so that we can quote you on overseas delivery rates.

Made to Order Items – Some products will indicate that they are “Made to Order” – these are made to order by our supplier and, as such, can take longer to be dispatched. If you require a more accurate timeframe for a made to order item, please contact us before ordering.

Special Order Items – Your order will be shipped to South Africa, expected lead times will vary – please contact us for the latest estimated timeframe. Shipping times are an estimate only due to the nature of international freight shipping. Once the stock arrives in South Africa, your order is expected to be fulfilled as above. We will endeavor to keep you updated in this process as information becomes available.

Before you finalise your order, you have the option to indicate any specific delivery instructions in the “order notes” field. We will pass these on to our courier partner for their information.

With its superior optics and premium features, the National Geographic 8×42 Single Bridge Binoculars are an excellent observing aid for hikers, wildlife watchers and adventurers of all types. These versatile binoculars have a 42mm aperture that brings in lots of light without being cumbersome. When paired with the device’s superior Bak-4 prisms and fully multi-coated lenses, this ample aperture delivers bright images rich in contrast, colour and clarity. To ensure all-weather performance, the high-end optics are secured in a waterproof housing that is purged with an inert gas to create an environment that is impervious to internal fogging.

These binoculars offer 8x magnification that produces crisp details — especially at shorter to mid-distances — while maximizing field of view and a generous eye relief of more than 20mm to allow eyeglass wearers to easily enjoy the full image. Additional features include diopter adjustment for proper focus for each eye, twist-up eyecups for comfortable viewing and a streamlined roof prism design that is less burdensome than a traditional porro prism option. Each pair comes with lens covers to protect the optics during storage and transit, a neck strap to make sure they are always at the ready and a storage case.
