Delivery rates and timeframes
There is an extra charge to deliver heavy or oversized items: The total delivery charge for your order will be displayed at checkout. Orders placed outside of working hours (evenings, weekends, public holidays) will begin processing the following working day. Orders are usually dispatched for delivery within the above quoted processing time after your payment has cleared. Courier transit time once dispatched is usually 1-5 working days, depending on our courier partner’s routes and workloads. Outlying regions may take a couple of days longer for delivery. Please remember that couriers do not deliver on weekends or public holidays. We will notify you on the dispatch of your order to our courier partner indicating your order tracking number. If you are provided with a delivery PIN (digital signature) for your shipment, please treat this securely – do not provide the PIN to anyone unless you are in receipt of your package, provision of this number to your delivery person will sanction parcel delivery. Orders are sent via standard economy shipping; applies within the territory of the Republic of South Africa to street addresses routinely serviced by our national courier. Remote Areas – Delivery to certain outlying addresses may not be possible or may attract additional delivery surcharges – in this instance we will contact you to discuss delivery options. Special Delivery Areas – Delivery to special delivery areas may attract extra delivery surcharges. The Old Bear XL Olive is a beautiful, classic pocketknife with olive wood handle
On the occasion of its 90th birthday, Antonini, founded in 1925, presented the Old Bear series, which represents a compelling interpretation of the classic utility pocketknife. The centerpieces of the knives are the wooden handles, which carry the traditional locking mechanism. A rotating ring inserted into the brass collar secures the blade in the deployed as well as closed position. As the active partner for this project, Todesco (Maniago/Italy) had already patented this mechanism in 1985 as a lock for pocket knives.
The straightforward handling and exceedingly classic look of this traditional pocketknife with olive scales in combination with the affordable acquisition price make the Old Bear a more than attractive purchase. 420 stainless steel blade, sharpened manually. Made in Italy.
